Gun Powder Plot eastbury manor
first ever ghostly investigation, london
"discovering past information"
Asked to look into any buildings history can be intriguing but add to that from a ghostly point of view, now thats impressive.
a plot with fireworks?
Asked to look at an unusual building, is not really that off beat for Ralph. Being asked to find them in specific areas is again par for the course, but to ask them to perform specific acts is out of the ordinary. A film crew and reporters eagerly awaited the results, but Ralph explained nothing is that easy especially when you're dealing with temperamental spirits.
Ralph's first words "Yes there seems to be some sort of plot here, with plenty of fireworks to come...." Ralph remember had no idea what this building was or its history to England, Eastbury Manor was until now a very well kept secret. No medium had been in before even though there had been ghosts sighted, could they learn something new?
hanging by the front door
Ralph started by asking a spirit body to move away from the front door to ease the atmosphere within the building. Historians at that moment had forgotten about a recent hanging (1970's) in front of the main doors, so puzzled looks were everywhere. Ralph asked for the energy present by the magnificent fireplace to step forward. As Ralph had finished and at precisely the same time a mobile phone rang making everyone run for the door, what a start to proceedings.
Ralph talked about the owner of the property and the sweet smells he made around the main room, but talked of him being seen as he'd attempted to show himself. At this point a photograph was produced of a figure standing by the fireplace. Ralph then went on to talk about another hanging and how the stairs had not only been moved but played a part in the hanging (confirmed by the historians).
the tower and the plot
The tower revealed another mystery with talk of the River Thames being closer and the manor having its own water frontage. But the tower had its keeper who told of a secret room and plots to blow up the Houses of Parliament. Talk of the plot moving north and four gun powder plot members being present in the home (astounded historians took detailed notes).
Information provided through out the visit proved vital and confirmed many suspicions the staff had gained in their own stays at the manor. Overall an intriguing visit with plenty of differing information given in Eastbury Manors existence. The resulting information has since tied in with reports from the northern castles and has helped connect many missing parts to facts already known.
